Founded in 2009 by Jeff Hawkes, Chartwell has developed, owned and managed more than 7,500 multifamily units. The name Chartwell stems from a country house near Westerham, Kent, in South East England. For over forty years it was the home of Sir Winston Churchill.
Churchill is best remembered for his discipline and and relentless passion which successfully lead Britain through World War II. He was famous for his ability to inspire, his refusal to give in, and his ability to lead his people even when things were going badly. At Chartwell Capital Partners, we also refuse to give in during tough times or during the downturn of a market. It is our commitment to never give up and do all we can to protect and grow our investor’s capital.

We've acquired & resolved 2 billion dollars of distressed transactions, and have 1 billion dollars of historical AUM for multifamily properties throughout the US.
